Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
In this month’s newsletter, we are highlighting our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)—the legal contract between the Peace Corps agency and the Peace Corps Employees Union that defines our rights as employees. We recommend clicking the link above to review our CBA and familiarize yourself with its various articles and sections. If you believe agency management has violated your rights under the CBA, you can request a consultation (anonymously if preferred) with a Union steward through our website. The Union has worked diligently to protect our rights by negotiating the CBA, and we are always looking for volunteers to participate in negotiations. If you have any interest, please contact us and feel free to check out other opportunities at the Union.

Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) Working Group
The FEVS working group is a team that analyzes the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) results and then recommends potential improvements to the PC Director. Work has recently begun, with members reviewing previous years’ survey data. The Union is participating in the working group, as FEVS is an ongoing topic of discussion in the Union, and we believe this is an opportunity to continue advocating for employees. This group has a two-year commitment, and they hope to bring meaningful change to the agency. We encourage all eligible staff to participate in this year's survey, which was released May 5 and closes in June. This is your chance to give the agency a better understanding of your viewpoint on workloads, working conditions, and agency actions.
